Employment Law for Employers
The Employment law team at Ford & Warren is led by Ben Daniel. The department advises on all workplace issues including:
- Unfair/Wrongful Dismissal
- Equal Pay
- Redundancy and Reorganisation of Business and Workforce
- Transfer of Undertakings (TUPE)
- Policies and Procedures
- Investigations and Consultancy on Workforce Practices and Strategies
- Directors and Governance
The team is one of a few to offer a complete cradle to grave service for Employment Tribunal litigation. The Employment team carries out all case preparation and conducts its own advocacy. We also have unrivalled experience in industrial relations matters.
The department has a varied client base which includes transport companies, NHS Trusts and further education facilities. It has a number of long-standing clients that have been with the firm for over 20 years. The majority of the department's new clients are referred by recommendation of the team's expertise and excellent reputation.
The department is continually ranked highly in Chambers UK and The Legal 500 publications. Recently the team was praised for its ability to think outside of the box and advise on business objectives, not just quote the law. Ben Daniel is recognised as a key individual for his expertise in Employment law.
The department offers training to all clients, including mock tribunals enabling clients to gain an insight into the working of tribunals which is informed by the team's own experience.
Our public sector clients include universities; further and higher education colleges; schools; NHS Trusts and Health Authorities. The department has a particularly strong commitment to both the education and health sector and has assisted in-house advisers from both sectors.
