In June 2008 the firm sponsored a major international conference in Leeds for the Association of Mergers and Acquisition Advisors and the Transatlantic Business Council where many Americans met to discuss international M&A transactions. Ford & Warren is a member of the Transatlantic Business Council.

In June 2008 the firm sponsored a breakfast seminar at the Harvard Club of New York City for 80 American companies who are interested in expanding to the UK and raising capital on the London stock exchanges. Several speakers from the firm and other professional and financial experts including the Deputy Consul-General and US Director, UK Trade & Investment spoke at the seminar. Ford & Warren is a member of the British American Business Council.

China

Ford & Warren has a relationship with the major commercial Chinese law firm Zhonglun W&D which has several offices in China including Beijing and Shanghai, as well as an office in London. ZLWD provides valuable resources to our clients who want to pursue investment opportunities, protect their technology, and develop/implement commercial transactions in China.

ZLWD has several specialties including foreign direct investment, financial services, commercial operations, formation of joint ventures and wholly foreign-owned enterprises, acquisitions of assets and stock, company and asset restructuring, and international business law.

Our firm hosted a breakfast seminar in mid December 2007 to several of the ZLWD partners who spoke for a packed audience on the Chinese financial industry, protection of intellectual property rights, and foreign companies doing business in China.
