| Department | Keith is managing partner and head of employment and labour relations. Keith has 30 years' experience in all aspects of employment law, but particularly renowned for work in the field of labour relations. Practice developments over the last year include a number of trade union recognition issues in the UK and abroad. He provided continuing advice to clients involved in strikes and industrial actions on the railways, buses and other industries, and issues in the public sector. Keith is increasingly involved in employment and competition issues on transactional work. Last year he advised one of the world's largest bus operators on complex employment contractual matters involving senior employees in a US business recently acquired by the client. His particular specialist areas are the road and rail industries and the health sector. Clients include numerous NHS trusts and strategic health authorities. Keith supplies training programmes for clients and evolution of strategies for dealing with, and effectively managing, stress claims in the workplace, as well as various seminars and training courses on the handling on the emotional content of difficult employment issues by management. Keith's consultancy work has increased which involves internal management and governance reporting. |
